Mohamed Bangalie
Born in Bo and schooled at the Christ the King College, Southern Sierra Leone, Mohamed Bangalie is the Head of Public Affairs and Events Management at the National Social Security and Insurance Trust.
He has an illustrious career at NASSIT and has demonstrated commitment, dedication and selfless service for almost 20 years in the field of Public Relations, Customer Service and Events Management.
Additionally, he has provided PR Consultancy services for several agencies and telecommunications companies in Sierra Leone and is a mentor to young PR professionals .
Beyond his professional career, Mohamed Bangalie is an entrepreneur, having diverse businesses and partnerships in his local community. He is the current President of his Alumni Association, the Christ the King College Old Boys Association (COBA).
Mohamed has a Masters degree in Business Administration in Marketing and Public Relations and has several post graduate diplomas and career certifications.
He has attended many training programmes, conferences and seminars in Public Relations, Marketing, Customer Service and Social Security Administration.
He is a devout Communication and Public Relations practitioner, and believes in rewriting Africa’s story.
The African Public Relations Association (APRA) is the successor organisation to the Federation of African Public Relations Associations (FAPRA) that was inaugurated in 1975 in Nairobi Kenya to foster unity via interaction and exchange of ideas amongst public relations practitioners in Africa as a whole.
