Our main objective is to contribute to creating a professional environment conducive to the accurate perception, goodwill and necessary and effective understanding of public relations practice in Africa. As a professional association, we strongly believe in promoting African unity while working for the development of our noble profession on the African continent and globally.

Our Objectives

  • To be the central hub for public relations information in Africa.
  • Establish standards of public relations practice through its code of ethics.
  • Promote the creation of national and sub-regional public relations associations so that the profession can prosper on the continent.
  • Promote African unity and cooperation, particularly as a consulting body to the African Union and its various agencies.
  • Publish bulletins and journals on public relations in Africa.
  • Affiliate with all other similar international professional bodies.
