The African Public Relations Association (APRA) is the successor organization to the Federation of African Public Relations Associations (FAPRA), inaugurated in 1975 in Nairobi, Kenya, with the aim of promoting unity through interaction and the exchange of ideas between public relations practitioners across Africa.

As a professional association, we strongly believe in promoting African unity while working towards the development of our noble profession on the African continent and globally.

By seeking business-focused and socially responsible investments in Africa, we will establish global strategic partnerships that generate returns to improve the economic and social well-being of the continent.
